The rough construction phases start with excavation. After the necessary construction works are done, the foundation excavation is carried out from the point determined by the survey engineer according to the project. The depth of the foundation excavation varies according to the structure of the ground, the project of the building to be built and its architectural features. After the foundation excavation, the soil must be compacted (compaction) and blocking operations (gravel or crushed stone must be laid).
